Motherhood* is a tricky matter. Our work is to provide a buffer against culture, but also to foster the qualities that will help our children thrive in it. These notes are meant to do a bit of both.
* I like the sound of motherhood over parenting. The latter sounds contractual and temporary. The former reminds us that there is a womb involved. It is a feminine word that contains every father in the same way that mankind contains every woman and girl.
